[ANNIVERSARY] Chloe + Kevin

How do you know where to start when you photograph two of the most talented people you know/a couple you look up to/best friends? Words fail me.

Just know Chloe and Kevin are two of my favorite people in the world. This was one of my favorite shoots to date, which was to commemorate their 9 year wedding anniversary. Who doesn't want to work with their best friends?! Their love, Chloe's amazing ginger hair, and just being exceptionally photogenic (AND STYLISH) made it 100x easier.

Pardon my gratuitous gushing, but did I mention how talented they are? They own Rubbish Rehab, where they refinish vintage chairs and make them (for lack of a better word) amazing. Chloe also runs Curiously Colorful where she just shares her outlandish skill for style/home decor/interior design with the world. Both are definitely worth clicking.

I love these two, and I can't wait to shoot their 10th anniversary next year!

[MILITARY] Nick & Amber

Shot on a one of our last sunny days this past October, Nick and Amber were all smiles for the whole two hours I dragged them around this park. He had her laughing non-stop for nearly every frame, which made them incredibly easy to shoot, not to mention photogenic!

That being said, be warned: this will be a very photo-heavy post. I couldn't resist!

[MILITARY] Crute Homecoming

Meet Darrell and Shawna. I don't even know where to start with these two- they're some of the most gracious, kind people I've ever met, and I had such a great day working with them (even though most of it was spent waiting!) Not only that, but they're wonderful in front of the camera! If I could have favorites, they couple would be among them.

Thank you both again for letting me be a part of such an exciting day. I can't wait to work with you again!

[MILITARY] Dupree Homecoming

The experience of being surrounded by hundreds of couples and families being reunited all around me was one of the most touching, heart-warming things I've ever witnessed. And, I know every photographer says this, but it's one of those things that makes you really, really love your job.

Charmi was also such a sweet and accommodating girl, I was so glad she got in contact with me (months in advance!) for her fiance's homecoming. She kept the laughs going for the entire day while we waited for her love to come home.

Thank you again, Charmi and Luke, for your sacrifice! Welcome home!
