Here is a gorgeous wedding I shot last summer. The entire event was a photographer's dream- beautiful day, beautiful venue, beautiful couple. There were so many I liked I decided to split this wedding into two posts!

[MARRIED] Madelynn + Ben - Elopement

Meet quite possibly the coolest couple in the world, Madelynn and Ben. Despite their wedding (which was 2 years in the works!) being delayed, rescheduled, and ultimately, cancelled, they kept a huge smile on their face the ENTIRE day. In the end, they decided to take the simple, less stressful route and have a quiet little elopement on a rainy day in June. Despite Washington being its usual uncooperative self with the torrential downpour and huge gusts of wind that seemed to find us every 30 seconds, they kept smiling.

Congratulations, Madelynn & Ben! It was such a joy to be a part of your huge day!

[SNEAK PEEK] Wedding 3.26.12 - Josh & Mariya

I can't tell you  how excited I was to shoot this wedding- I met Mariya a few years ago when she modeled for a couple photo shoots and was ECSTATIC when she asked me! She told me in 2008 when I first met her that I'd be her wedding photographer, and she kept her word!

It was an honor to photograph one of the biggest days of your life, Mariya! Thank you so much for choosing me to be a part of it.
